The Piano

Pianos have entertained thousands over the last century. When we think about this grand instrument, composers like Mozart and Beethoven come to mind. The piano's got their boost in the hundred years between 1790 and 1890.

This is when stronger steel and iron was manufactured. Helping in building strong Iron frames and Steel piano wire for good instruments.

The thing to remember is that nobody was born knowing how to play the piano. They all had to learn from scratch and you can do the same. It doesn't matter whether your young or old. It's never to late to learn how to play the piano.

Pianos are used in all different types of music, from country, chamber music to even solo performances. The good thing about pianos is they are versatile they can be used in whatever genre of music you are interested in playing.

Make sure that while you are learning the piano that you use your senses too. Listening to a song will actually help you be able to play it. Understand that learning to play piano can be difficult, but it is worth it in the end.

Music expresses the feelings that words cannot. By singing the words of another, we can touch the depths of our hearts.

There is no life without a music.

Playing a piano is like falling in love with someone who inspires you to live everyday.

-

Here we play some music that inspires everybody to fall in love using the piano:

"So Close, Standing Right Next to Me, and When I first saw you”.

-

So close to reaching that famous happy ending

Almost believing this one's not pretend

And now you're beside me and look how far we've come

So far, we are, so close

"So Close" is a 2007 song written for the Disney film Enchanted, with music composed by Allan Menken and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. Performed by Jon Mclaughlin.

The song is a contemporary ballad that contrasts in style to songs,  which were written in part as a parody of classic Disney films, the song is "totally genuine" in tone as it is used to express the emotional journey that the main character undergoes.

-

So Close by Jon Mclaughlin

[mp3t track="http://sentimentalgroove.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/So-close-by-Francis.mp3" title="" play="Click me to play a song." stop="Francis Sings So Close"]

You're in my arms

And all the world is calm

The music playing on for only two

So close together

And when I'm with you

So close to feeling alive

A life goes by

Romantic dreams must die

So I bid mine goodbye and never knew

So close was waiting, waiting here with you

And now forever I know

All that I want is to hold you

So close

So close to reaching that famous happy ending

Almost believing this one's not pretend

And now you're beside me and look how far we've come

So far, we are, so close

How could I face the faceless days

If I should lose you now?

We're so close

To reaching that famous happy ending

Almost believing this one's not pretend

Let's go on dreaming for we know we are

So close

So close

And still so far

Karla Bonoff

Love for another soul is like a gardener caring for their flowers....if you leave it un nourished it turns into a weed or otherwise known as hate but if you love it and strengthen it, it turns into the greatest gift of all.....LIFE

[mp3t track="http://sentimentalgroove.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Standing-right-next-to-me-by-Rachelle.mp3" title="" play="Click me to play a song." stop="Rachelle Sings Standing Right Next to Me"]

Standing Right Next to Me

by Karla Bonoff

Love is like the wind,

Sometimes it blows your way,

And until now

It missed me somehow.

But when I turned around

I saw you standing there.

The sound of your voice -

I had no choice.

I used to have a wish

One day I'd feel like this.

Now I know love exists

Cause it's standing right next to me.

Beneath the moon tonight

I see it in your eyes -

No more false starts,

No more broken hearts.

I used to have a wish

One day I'd feel like this.

Now I know love exists

Cause it's standing right next to me.

Even in the dark,

Even when you're gone

I feel you in my heart.

I used to have a wish

One day I'd feel like this.

Now I know love exists

Cause it's standing right next to me

Standing right next to me.

Based on the Broadway musical, a trio of black female soul singers cross over to the pop charts in the early 1960s.

When I First Saw You

by Jamie Foxx

-

[mp3t track="http://sentimentalgroove.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/When-i-first-saw-you-by-Jason.mp3" title="" play="Click me to play a song." stop="Jason Sings When I First Saw You"]

-

[Verse]

When I first saw you

I said "O My", I said "O My"

That's a dream

That's my dream

I needed a dream

When it all seemed to go bad

Then I found you

And I have had the most beautiful dreams any mans ever had

[Verse 2]

When I first saw you

I said "O My", "O My"

That's my dream

That's my dream

I needed a dream

To make me strong

You were the only reason I had to go on

[Chorus]

You were my dream

All the things I never knew

You were my dream

Who could believe they could ever come true

And who would believe

The world would believe

And my dreams too

[Verse 3]

When I first saw you

I said "O My", "O My"

That's my dream

[Fade Out]

2012 Clients for Social and Corporate Events

Christian Banawa

The Sentimental Groove Rates and Packages

Welcome!

We, The Sentimental Groove, are truly grateful to you and to the effort that you gave to us by looking into our site; thus, allowing us to share ourselves to you.

Our identity and corporate culture, beliefs and ideals, ideas and creations, strengths and idealisms, goals and aspirations, our enduring passion and zest to discover and rediscover life is very much described, enumerated and conceived in our multiply site. Communicated through a pure and divine medium, Music will be our voice.

We hope to design this site to aid those who want to seek and understand the music in their lives and those who would love to learn and enjoy a life with music. Henceforth, “Music in Life and Life in Music” will guide us accordingly into each and every horizon that we partake.

The Social and Corporate Events has evolved in ways parallel to every kid’s imagination. From stylists who can transform your venue from a four-cornered empty hall into an every-imaginable-thought you could perceive, to photographers who can recreate your memories into something tangible for safe-keeping. Videographers wouldn’t be for last due to their on-site artistic expressions that captures not only the event but the hearts of the audiences.
Ingenuity and innovation has indeed redefined event planning which has endowed the uniqueness of every personality. Mobile Bars, Personalized Songs, Photo Booth, Butterfly Release, Union Sands, Rose Ceremony and a lot more of these gimmicks did recreated the events for the millennia.

What We DO?Arts and Entertainment is the main theme of our enterprise. Technical Support and Systems for Event, Original songs for movies and corporate promotional needs, music lessons and performance training, Musical Direction of Plays and Concerts, and a talent agency where and train individuals to find the artist within.

In lieu, we, The Sentimental Groove, has an ingenuity of its own that fits and describes every personality or ambiances. We have been developing small to big scale musical ensembles that will fit not only the orchestration required but the budget allocation too. Hence, we would like to invite you to view these ten-year-old insights of how your musical ensemble should be.

Below are the basic packages that we saw efficient for most events:

Quartal Magic – Piano, Percussions and Two Vocalists…

A unique blend of individuals that can sing from the ceremony to the reception plus another set of music with a competitive capacity to create an after-program-party (ballroom, disco, R and B…) is now open for Fifteen Thousand Pesos Only (Php15, 000).

All-in-One Music EnsembleVocal Group (Semi-Choir) to a Seven Piece Band…

Variety and flexibility…  A complex group developed by time and passion. This group can round the crowd into the dance floor with ballroom, disco, R and B and more of the party genre. Such performance will surely leave an awe-inspired admiration from your guests pertaining to the musical capacity of the group since they have been the chorale that rendered the heart-felt repertoire for the ceremony. Not to mention the music performed for the cocktails; Samba, Reggae, Latin, Bossa Nova, and others similar to such. Dinner would have been spectacled with Jazz, Pop and the Standards. We have knitted all these inclusions for only Twenty Three Thousand Pesos (Php23, 000).

Again, as we cope to the ever changing ways of how to create an event, we would like to extend our gratitude for allowing us to share ourselves to you. We truly hope to be part of your Events Team.

Godspeed and Happy Preparations!

Ian Banawa

Our Journey...

A journey of knowing the kind of repertoire that fits our individuality. Along with the powerful touch of music, we adhere to love and passion, self motivation with a zest for knowledge. We rediscover ourselves and enhance the skills and potentials bestowed on us. Hence, we create a relationship that is centered to accepting the imperfection yet embracing the strengths of our every member.

For more than a decade, The Sentimental Groove and The Social and Corporate Events has evolved in ways parallel to every kid’s imagination.

To add more to the team players in our company, The Technical Support and Systems are collaged in one center in The Sentimental Groove collection of colleagues. Enabling us to provide technical supports and systems such as lightings, sound, staging, audio-visual presentation and similar event requirements.

The Stage is Our Life!?!

Here on, we are again thankful of your time, inquiry and scrutiny. We hope to meet your expectations and achieve the reward of an artist, "an applause". We will always parallel again and again our craft to self discovery and innovations. We truly hope that, through this multiply site, you will enjoy our little adventures and horizons as you discover them with us.
